Our spaces

We have three rooms at The Nuresry. The Baby turtles room is for 0-2 years old, The starfishes room is for 2-3 years old and the Dolphins room is for 3-5 years old.

• The Baby Turtles

  
  This room provides the opportunity for our toddlers to explore, experiment and discover through play within a safe, cosy and comfortable environment.

  Age: 0-2 years old

   

• The Starfishes

  

  Our space for children over 2 years old is a stimulating room providing lots of opportunities for active play, investigating, and exploring. We also have a dedicated space for children needing quiet time.

  Age: 2-3 years old

• The Dolphins

  
  The play in this room is purposeful, planned and flexible where children will grow to enjoy the fun of achievement. Activities are child led to follow the children’s interests after observations are made and reflect the child’s voice. Our pre-school embraces the Curriculum for Excellence and ScotGov GIRFEC principles and values. And using the eight indicators on the SHANARRI Wheel to ensure each child is treated as an individual and their needs are met.
